In collaboration with Arup and Chris Bennewith of Massey University in Wellington, New Zealand, I developed a scoping workshop for a proposed installation within the Elizabeth Quay precinct, identifying the key drivers, potential formats and benefits to the local community as well as visitors. The workshop and its outcomes feeds into a feasibility study about the cost/benefits of such installations.
Elizabeth Quay is a key State Government backed project that seeks to reconnect the city with the Swan River. It is a $400 million dollar investment in key public infrastructure with private sector investment opportunities within the site. It will be a mixed used precinct with a very celebratory character, reflecting an urban lifestyle in Australia's 'outdoors' city.
