The Gold Coast has big plans. No longer satisfied with its reputation as a holiday destination and lifestyle hub, the Gold Coast is now aiming to become a cultural magnet in its own right. With an ambitious plan to develop a cultural precinct at Evandale, the Council needed a Vision that they could communicate easily to the public stakeholders and future design teams.
I led the development on this strategic vision with Council and the Major Projects team. This included the facilitation of key stakeholder workshops, and the distillation of those insights into a vision and high level functional brief.
Since this project, ARM have been announced as the winners of the International Competition and have been progressing the design process from a landscape and architectural point of view.
