White Bay Power Station Bid Coordination
Project Name: White Bay Power Station RFT
Client: Confidential
Location: Sydney, Australia
Dates: December 2015 – February 2016

White Bay Power Station is a landmark on Sydney Harbour, an icon of the history of the city, and a building much loved by the locals. UrbanGrowth NSW put out a call for tender submissions to revitalise the Power Station as part of the redevelopment of the entire Bays Precinct which includes the Fish Markets, Glebe Island and the White Bay Power Station site.

Michelle and her team were engaged by the new business unit of one of the proponents competing for the development project, performing the role of strategic visioning and bid coordination to pull together a competitive and enticing proposal in collaboration with the proponent’s team.

The work included workshops, strategic planning, concept development, creative briefing, consultation, copywriting, and project management, ensuring a proposal that answered the required deliverables while offering a unique competitive approach. The role was delivery focused, while also offering a voice to guide, challenge and mentor the team to develop the strongest ideas and responses for the submission.
